Fears That Are Irrational- Irrational fears is a major sign of anxiety disorder, and being fearful of something specific, such as animals or heights, then you may have a phobia, which is a form of anxiety. For example, you may have it if you find yourself overly scare or fearful when you are near specific animals or all animals, or if you are scared of clowns and things of that nature. Irrational fears is a telltale sign of anxiety, so you should speak with your doctor if you have specific types of phobia.

Self-Conscious- There is nothing wrong with being a little self-conscious, as some people consider this to be normal, but if you’re overly self-conscious and you are always worrying about what other people think about you, then this could be a problem. If you are self-conscious to the point you do not go to certain places, especially places people go to everyday, such as grocery stores and restaurants, then this may be a sign of anxiety. If everyday situations make you worry, such as speaking to another person or drinking or eating in front of other people, then you may have anxiety disorder, especially if you feel like this all the time, even in the presence of people you know, such as family and friends.
